Delaware Department of Transportation —
ITMS Project-Individual Experience

Project Overview: DELTRAC, formerly the Delaware Department of Transportation Integrated Transportation Management Systems (ITMS), utilized a multi-modal approach to improving transportation using Intelligent Transportation Systems and Transportation Management technologies to monitor travel and adjust signals, signage, transit, etc. to lessen congestion.

Served as Project Manager and lead communications integrator in support of the Delaware Department of Transportation ITMS project to design, develop and field a fiber optic WAN to support ITMS throughout the State.

• Led the strategic planning of the Delaware Department of Transportation statewide communications network.
  
  
• Planned, designed, tested and directed implementation of communications to and from signal cabinets, high and low data-rate video connectivity, detector systems, message signs, and interfaces to multi-modal transportation agencies.
